"The Law Offices of Melissa K. Dagodag"

Melissa K. Dagodag practices in Beverly Hills, California and provides legal counsel for creative companies, from forming startups to registering trademarks to drafting business contracts. She earned her Master's and Bachelor's degrees in English from Stanford University and her J.D. from UCLA School of Law. She is a former Adjunct Professor at Pepperdine School of Law, a Rotarian and a Member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association. When Melissa is not writing or negotiating contracts for her clients she enjoys taking digital photos of landscapes and has had some of her photos displayed in a gallery show in Santa Monica.

She also enjoys playing tennis, practicing yoga and writing songs. Aspiring to give her clients the personal attention that she once wanted when running her design and manufacturing business, Melissa decided to open "The Melissa K. Dagodag" law practice in 2006. To this day, she adheres to the ideals that brought her to the practice of law in the first place: Protecting and Strengthening the Work of Entrepreneurs and Creative Businesses.

Melissa is a member of the California State Bar Association, the Beverly Hills Bar Association, Stanford Professional Women of Los Angeles, Stanford Ideas and Connections Network and the Rotary Club of Santa Monica. She serves on the Board of Directors of Meals on Wheels West, volunteering at the non-profit California Lawyers for the Arts.
